Aromatherapy Oil Can Help Lower Stress Levels |

I've had high blood pressure since I was about 19 years old. I've struggled to keep it under control by taking pills, but I really don't like to take pills so I was looking for other avenues to take.
Recently I had been doing some surfing on the net, and I read something about aromatherapy oil being very helpful in dealing with stress. I know that aromatherapy oil has been used in the Asian countries for a long time, but it's taken some time for it to become accepted by Americans as therapeutic.
I decided to give some aromatherapy oil a try! I purchased some lavender aromatherapy oil and a cute little brown oriental aromatherapy oil dispenser. All you need is a little tea light candle to heat the aromatherapy oil that you put in the dish that is directly above this little bowl; the aromatherapy oil begins to heat up and gives off a wonderful soothing scent!
I have noticed that when I use my aromatherapy oil my blood pressure begins to come down. I'm sure it has something to do with the way the lavender helps me to relax; it's such a calming fragrance. I will continue to use the aromatherapy oil to help keep my stress levels down and as a result I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to reduce or even quit taking my blood pressure medicine; with the help of my physician, of course.
